Ken Symonds
1927 - 2010

Ken Symonds was born in London, and settled in Cornwall in 1960, after a career as a free-lance illustrator.

He was a central figure of the Cornwall artistic community, both as an artist and teacher, and taught classes at Penzance School of Art and St Ives School of Paintings.

Gouache, water-colour, oil ... Ken worked in many medias, and his main subjects were nude studies, landscapes and to-the-point portraits.
